Not a lecture about deleting applications, though some may go. The instrument is wrong: a catalog of peaks with the hours removed, a thousand lives in an hour, a decade compressed into twelve seconds. Peer weather cuts sharper than celebrity. Envy gets treated as a pointer. The audience shrinks. One rigged contest is retired as a measuring stick. The work is not to disappear, and not to become rustic as a brand. Tampa evenings still look like evenings. The work is to stop letting a glowing ruler run the house. Town questions replace city questions. The kitchen is allowed to be the actual scale.
